Beca Piascik
Maple Leaf

Media: Handmade paper, pulp prints

Artist Statement:
A large pulp painting resembling the shape of a maple leaf with embedded paper prints of a wood fragment. The wood fragment was given to me by my dearest friend, who mailed it to me during the beginning of quarantine because it was 'one of my shapes'. A nine pointed arrangement of alternating dark color schemes surrounded a light green individual.
