Artist Statement:
"As the Crow Flies" materializes the spectacle of crows in Japan and the morbid undertones that accompany them.

Biography

Mika Obayashi is a sculpture and installation artist from Michigan. She received her BA in Art and the History of Art from Amherst College in 2019. Upon graduation, she lived in Kyoto, Japan, teaching English and studying textiles at Kyoto Seika University. She now resides in Greenfield, MA.
