Sally combined studies at the Institute of Design in Chicago with world travels before completing a BFA from Colorado State University and an MFA from Indiana University. She taught fibers and paper making for 33 years at Central Michigan University and has exhibited work nationally and in Canada, Germany, Hungary, Korea, and Switzerland.
