Sunlight and Smoke (2021)
Media: embossed collograph
Statement: Sunlight and Smoke is my interpretation of today’s environmental problem. Entire towns, homes and personal material possessions have disappeared in smoke. Can we reverse climate change? Will our consumption of petroleum products be reduced?
Storm Center (2020)
Media: embossed collograph
Statement: I use abstract concepts to express visual designs in a repetitive dimensional way. Since the 1980's my artworks have been created on artist-made, 100% cotton fiber paper. The printing plate is run through an etching press and later the paper is hand colored with an airbrush, using fiber dyes.
Erosion I (2020)
Media: embossed collograph
Statement: Erosion l is a print which brings attention to drought and the lack of water in many areas of the planet. Swaths of once fertile land have lost the ability to sustain a population that once survived in material well being.
