Awareness 2020: Before Order and After Disorder
Media: stop-motion animation
Statement:
I created Awareness 2020 with fellow artist Sal Pirrone. We met in my studio, built a set with numerous changeable scenes of my handmade pulp painted papers, and created moveable avatars. This is a still of one frame, “before order and after disorder,” from the video word poem.
Awareness 2020: Absorption, Radiation, Radiance
Media: stop-motion animation
Statement:
This is a still of the frame, “absorption, radiation, radiance” from the video word poem. In my garage we shot the video on Sal’s iPhone in 7000 individual frames. In my dining room I learned Premiere Pro to assemble our jpegs and add the titles.
Awareness 2020: What is On My Mind? Or Mine?
Media: stop-motion animation
Statement:
This is a still, “what is on my mind? or mine?” from the video word poem. Sal and Rick McSorley drummed the music which Sal orchestrated. I dropped it into our Premiere Pro video. The full 4.5 minute video is seen on this YouTube link: https://youtu.be/MulnWmURtSA
