Lujiang Li
Mask
Media: Electro-etching, chine-collé, engraving, drypoint on handmade paper
Statement:
A mask, to me, is used to cover or hide; it is representing an unreal face. I intended to create a contradiction with many elements. Is that butterfly the real soul? Then, why is the face covered? Is the eye real, or is it the pattern of the butterfly wing?
Prey
Media: Silkscreen and embossing on handmade paper
Statement:
Is the 3D-printed butterfly embossing an easy prey to the screen-printed spider?
