Exhibitions
North American Hand Papermakers develops and promotes exhibitions related to hand papermaking practice, papermaking scholarship, and papermaking technology. To encourage contemporary and future papermakers and to educate the public, it has implemented a three-year cycle of special exhibitions.
Conferences
Each year, NAHP hosts a conference focused on different topics and themes relating to hand papermaking. Papermakers, researchers, artists, collectors, and aficionados come from all over North America and, the world, to present and learn. Join us to learn more about scholarly research, experimental papermaking techniques, and new thinking in regards to the contextual importance of papermaking in art practices today.
Publications
North American Hand Papermakers publishes monthly email newsletters, a digital periodical Bull & Branch, and ad hoc e-blasts. NAHP monthly newsletters share latest NAHP news for members via email. Bull & Branch is published online twice a year. Read NAHP articles written from multiple points of view on special topics of interest to papermakers and the papermaking community.
